Moo.com Mini Business Cards

Moo.com is my new favorite site! There printing is on fabulous paper and very high quality. I knew I wanted to do something special for escort cards, but didn't want to just put people's names/tables on a business card and call it good.

So I found a fellow bride-to-be who ordered Moo.com mini business cards and had their engagement photos on the back of each card. The nice part of Moo.com is that you can have different photos on the back of your 100-pack. 1 photo to 100 different photos. So I decided that we'd personalize the photos and put each individual guest on the cards. We just went ahead and ordered photos of all the guests even if we knew they were or weren't coming. Saves us a headache in the future. (Although my fiance has just decided to invite a few more guests so they'll be receiving a generic photo of us on their escort card...sad).

How cute are these!?

44 Days...

Yikes - I've been so busy with work and trying to plan these wedding I've completely neglected finishing up some of the projects up here. Where do I even start?

1) Invitations were sent out middle of July - what a sigh of relief to have those out the doors. I've received many compliments on them and glad that I did them myself. I loved all the little details like the embossed address stamp on the back, the little ghost/skeleton Aspen leaves inside and the wax seal holding the invitation together.

2) Centerpieces were chopping down in late July. We're hoping to carve out the center to use as centerpieces. I'd love to put photos up if and when this actually gets done.

3) Programs are slowly, but surely getting there. I got the DIY covers from Minted - but I am not a fan. The programs are 4in wide and I wish they would've been closer to standard paper size. You make your program - print it out and cut it down the middle. They ask that you cut .75 from each side and then down the middle. I have had so many different sizes in that little program already. Not sure why, but I can't seem to get this one nailed down.

4) My To-Do list. It looks a lot like the last one a month and a half ago.
  • Flowers
  • Groomsmen Gifts
  • DJ
  • Altering my Dress
5) Cake is ordered! Many a weddings have been done in this valley and the one thing we've heard from a lot of people - "Don't waste your time at a bakery paying $1000+ for your cake. Order it from the grocery store." We've been to a few weddings and when we've asked where they got their delicious (and beautiful) cake - City Market. So I brought in a picture (shown below) and they said they can do it. Yes! And doesn't a raspberry/poppy seed cake sound divine?

So I'll post more photos as I get closer. Can't wait!

Share Your Photos...PLEASE!

I had won a PrintRunner.com giveaway for 250 business cards and while I don't have a use for 250 business cards I wanted to do something somewhat unique and make sure I get some of those great photos from our guests at the wedding. So I ordered "photo cards". I'm going to stick these in the thank-you notes after the wedding.

They match our invitations as well as several other items we've had printed. I know some couples hand them out or place them at the tables at the reception, but most of the people will glance at it when they first sit down and forget about them. We have enough so maybe we'll put a few out, but it's a good reminder once the fun has been had and for people to download the photos.

Best part with Shutterfly - they give you a custom email and the person just emails it to that email listed and it automatically uploads on the site. A win-win for everyone!

So what do you think?
